I won’t ever get over Jillian and Tyler’s wedding day at The Red Earth Venue in Moab. Their priorities: gathering their family and having a good time.
The only florals they had were centerpieces on the tables. Jillian didn’t even want a bouquet because “her dress spoke for itself.” They really went against the grain and were most concerned with having a gathering for their family that was memorable and I love them for that.

Jillian and Tyler knew they wanted to showcase Moab’s otherworldly red-rock landscapes for their guests, so the Red Earth Venue paired with The Pit, a dive-bar bowling alley, was the perfect combination for their wedding celebrations.
The panoramic red-rock views stole the show and made for an incredible backdrop for every part of their day
The Red Earth Venue is a private event venue situated on a 17 acre property, giving couples uninterrupted views of the surrounding scenery for miles. The feeling of privacy at this venue is unmatched and adds so much to the overall ambiance of the space.

-The Glass Venue with un-interrupted views of Moab from the glass windows that make up the venue
-Space for up to 120 guests
– Patio spaces on all sides of the venue
-Full catering kitchen
-50+ parking spaces
-Modern restrooms
-Beautiful furniture, including their 9ft wooden dining tables
The intimacy of this wedding venue out in the desert gave Jillian and Tylers’ wedding an almost other-worldly feel. Guests traveled from all over to Utah to celebrate these two, and damn, did they celebrate.
Everyone was on the dance floor all night long and that’s such a compliment to the way people love Tyler and Jillian. I will forever be obsessed with these two and this day.

Throughout the planning process Jillian and Tyler had firm stances on what their priorities were, and what they didn’t want on their wedding day. By leaning into those preferences and letting them guide their decisions, they created one of the most authentic wedding days I’ve ever experienced.
Some of my favorite things they included into their wedding weekend were:

A Casual Welcome Party – They gathered their guests at @sorrelriverranch to share toasts and meals and get spend time with all of their out of town guests before the wedding day.
Private Vows – they exchanged private vows in bed prior to their ceremony and didn’t have any public vows in front of their family because they weren’t comfortable with that

Editorial Family Photos – They hated the stand here and look, family photos so I did more editorial looks for them. They’re fresh, they’re fun and they have so much personality.
An Epic After Party – The Red Earth has a curfew so they hosted an afterparty at the very divey bowling alley there in Moab LOL “The Pit”
