This day lives rent free in my head. I still cannot believe I was lucky enough to photograph Sarah and Drake’s multi-day wedding celebration at the Solarium in Denver Botanic Gardens and all over Denver. These two chose the most epic non-traditional wedding venues (YES, venues plural) to celebrate with their people and I will be talking about this wedding non-stop for probably the rest of my life.

Sarah and Drake got ready for their wedding ceremony at the Catbird Hotel in Denver prior to heading to the Denver Botanic Gardens. I don’t care where you’re getting married, the Denver Botanic Gardens is thattttttt girl. One of my favorite settings for an intimate wedding in Denver, there is so much to love about this Colorado wedding venue.
The solarium is normally a blank canvas – but Karakara Blooms took it into her own hands to transform the ceremony space for the couple (who both cried when they saw it 🥹🥹). A few things to note about planning a wedding at the Solarium in the Denver Botanic Gardens:
The Denver Botanic Garden is such a great non-traditional wedding venue for an intimate wedding. It’s perfect for couples who want to stay in Denver while still feeling surrounded by beautiful scenery. I especially recommend the Solarium for smaller celebrations because it’s one of the most secluded spaces in the gardens. It’s also great for couples who want to host their ceremony and cocktail hour at the gardens before heading somewhere else for their reception.
If you’re considering the Denver Botanic Gardens for your wedding day, I have a blog covering everything you need to know!

After their wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at the Solarium, the couple headed to Brasserie Brixton for the first reception of their wedding weekend. These two are surrounded by so many amazing people who flew in to be a part of their wedding day, and so many of them took the time to give a toast to them during their dinner.
After their dinner they headed out to the Denver Yacht Club to spend time with their loved ones and celebrate their marriage.

I have to give credit where credit is due, Hitched AF pulled together this two day wedding in Denver seamlessly because she’s one of the BEST wedding planners in Colorado. Because Sarah and Drake had a lot of guests in from out of town, they made it worth their while by creating a multi day event – plus, how fun is it to have twooooo days of celebrating to look forward to!

For day two, Sarah and Drake hosted all of their friends and family at Town Hall Collaborative. Town Hall collaborative is a mixed use gathering space and bar with independently owned businesses that offer coffee, food, and retail shops.
They carried the same theme across their wedding weekend and they were able to reuse the florals they had at their wedding ceremony the day before and use them throughout the reception space. They spent the night dancing hard with their friends and family, and it was the perfect way to end the weekend.
