A majority of my couples are traveling here from out of state for a Colorado elopement.

While they want all the epic views we know Colorado has, local couples are a little different. My Colorado boos don’t always need mountain views, which was the case for Jess and Luke. Their McCreery House intimate wedding is one I’ll never forget. If you’re a couple looking for a venue that’s homey, close to Denver, and all inclusive, this is the place for you.

The Details

  • It was super important that both of their families were with them, so they knew an intimate wedding was the best choice. Most of their fam lives in South Carolina (where Jess and Luke are originally from) so a wedding was the perfect reason to get together and celebrate.
  • While an intimate wedding may not be traditional, their day had a lot of traditional elements. They both had wedding parties, there were speeches, custom cocktails, a formal dinner, and a hell of a lot of dancing!
  • The entire day was super smooth because a McCreery House intimate wedding is a one-stop-shop. You can get ready there, have your ceremony and reception, and get bomb photos all in one place.
  • Wedding joints were involved. We know I’m obsessed and 1,000% support them.

Must Knows

  • McCreery House is epic. There are two getting ready spaces for the bride and groom, an area for ceremonies, a space for dancing, and they bring catering in for you. The whole space gives me “great grandma’s house” vibes, from the vintage wallpaper to gorgeous chandeliers.
  • The venue is in Loveland, which is around an hour from Denver. You could totally stay in a hotel in the city, but there are hotel and Airbnb options in Loveland too if you want to turn your wedding into a fun weekend.
  • Like I said, McCreery House is 4/20 friendly. They even offer a cannabis bar option for your reception. Like shut the damn door and sign me up.
