One of the best things about this city is how many incredible Denver wedding event spaces you can weave together into a full weekend, each with its own vibe and experience. Drake and Sarah did exactly that, and it was one of those weddings where every part of the weekend felt intentional, elevated, and very them.
From a garden ceremony to a French dinner party to a full-on dance reception the next day, this is your sign that your wedding doesn’t have to live in just one place.

Denver is kind of built for epic wedding weekends. You’ve got high-end hotels, outdoor spaces, incredible restaurants, and unique reception venues all within a short distance of each other. Which means instead of forcing everything into one venue, you can actually design a wedding weekend that flows through the city.
All the different Denver wedding event spaces available here are perfect for couples who:
For Drake and Sarah’s wedding weekend, Friday was all about intentional and beautiful spaces. Each stop felt completely different, but once you put everything together, it told a cohesive story of what a wedding weekend in Denver can look like.
They started the day getting ready at Catbird Hotel in RiNo. It was so good. The space is minimalist but still high-end. It has a subtle pop-art feel throughout, tons of natural light, and fun little design moments everywhere you look.
Even though Sarah and Drake live in Denver, they made the intentional choice to get ready at the Catbird instead of at home, and it made a huge difference. It created a clear “start” to the day and felt special.
If you’re looking for a getting-ready location that feels like an upgrade from your everyday life, Catbird is easily one of the best Denver wedding event spaces to kick off your day.

From there, we headed to the Denver Botanic Gardens, which, in my opinion, is one of the most stunning ceremony locations in the city. We got there early for portraits (always the move), and the gardens absolutely delivered. The gallery from this part of the day is truly one of my pride and joys.
Drake and Sarah held their ceremony at the Woodland Mosaic and Solarium site, and then hosted a cocktail hour right outside the solarium, which felt like the perfect use of the space. Some couples choose to do a full dinner there, but I think focusing on a cocktail hour and then moving somewhere else keeps the energy flowing.

After the ceremony, the entire energy of the day shifted in the best way!
These two rented out Brasserie Brixton, a French restaurant in Denver, for an intimate dinner. Everything there — the lighting, the food, the design — is just incredible. It wasn’t your traditional wedding dinner. It actually felt more like hosting your closest people at a special dinner party. Instead of trying to make a big venue feel intimate, they just chose a space that already was. For couples who care about the guest experience, this is one of those Denver wedding event spaces that completely changes the feel of your day.

And then… we flipped the vibe again.
Right next door to Brasserie Brixton is Yacht Club — a speakeasy-style bar that feels like a hidden gem. This is where everything loosened up a bit, so it felt like a separate event instead of an extension of dinner.
Drinks were flowing and it felt like everyone exhaled some more and just had a freakin’ blast. To me, it felt like Sarah and Drake we’re just having a normal night out with all their favorite people. Putting the after party right next door to the dinner location made it incredibly easy to get everyone from point A to point B.

On Saturday, Drake and Sarah hosted a larger, more relaxed reception at Town Hall Collaborative with extended friends and family. They had the DJ, dessert, food trucks, and a packed dance floor. It was the perfect continuation of the weekend. And yes… the night ended with late-night Taco Bell, which is honestly the only correct way to close out a wedding weekend.

The reason this wedding felt so special was because they didn’t try to make one space do everything. Instead, they chose:
Each one did its job really well, and together, created a wedding weekend that felt elevated and completely personal.
Do you need to choose just one wedding venue in Denver?
Not at all. Lots of my couples are planning multi-location weddings — ceremony in one place, dinner in another, and a separate reception or after party.
What are the best types of Denver wedding event spaces to combine?
A great flow I recommend is: hotel (getting ready), outdoor or scenic ceremony location, restaurant for dinner, and a more open venue for dancing and celebration.
Is it more complicated to plan a multi-location wedding?
It takes a bit more coordination, but I help all my couples plan their elopements or intimate weddings! I also have some great suggestions for planners in Denver if you want to really take all the planning off your plate.
How do you transport guests between locations?
Many couples provide shuttles or choose locations that are close together to make things easy.
If you’re exploring Denver wedding event spaces and want to build a wedding weekend that actually feels like you, this is your reminder: you’re allowed to mix, match, and make the whole thing an experience.
