Dunafon Castle Wedding

Dunafon Castle is one of the most unique wedding spaces in the area.

Chris and Jordan’s wedding here is a good example of what happens when you pick a venue that already has a strong identity. Tucked away just outside Denver, it’s private, surrounded by water and trees, and designed to feel like an actual historic castle. Their day leaned into that setting in a way that felt personal and really fun to photograph.

What You Need to Know About a Dunafon Castle Wedding

It actually feels like a hidden castle

The property itself spans acres of private land with ponds, bridges, and walking paths, so it feels completely removed from the city, even though it’s not far from Denver. You may be renting a venue, but you’re getting an entire environment.

The architecture does the work for you

Dunafon Castle was originally completed in 1941 and designed to resemble old Celtic castles, with stone walls, turrets, arched windows, and handcrafted details throughout. What does that mean for you?

  • You don’t need heavy decor
  • You don’t need to “create” a vibe
  • You just show up and let the space be what it is

It’s private

One of the biggest advantages here is exclusivity. You get the entire property for your event, including:

  • The castle grounds
  • Private water features and ponds
  • Outdoor ceremony and reception areas

It’s built for outdoor ceremonies

Jordan and Chris’ ceremony took place outside, and that’s really where this venue shines. It’s one of those ceremony spaces that doesn’t need anything added to it, especially on a beautiful fall day like these two had!

Cost and What’s Included

A Dunafon Castle wedding will cost you $10,500 for Saturday events or $9,500 for weekdays. It’s a full-day venue, so even if you’re only doing a reception, you’re still booking the full package. That includes:

  • 9 hours of exclusive access to the property
  • Up to 150 guests
  • Tables, chairs, and a tent
  • Mandatory valet service
  • Onsite event manager
