Elegant LGBTQ Elopement in Northern Colorado

Earlier this year, Jen from Hitched AF and I put together an elegant LGBTQ elopement at the beautiful dog friendly wedding venue, Bestow Events, in Northern Colorado.

What began as a styled shoot quickly evolved into something cooler than we could have imagined.  After creating the vision I had the idea to gift two Colorado couples a fully designed wedding day and have the styled shoot become their real wedding.  After putting the idea out into the world through social media, Jessica and Raven were one of only two couples who responded to our follow-up email.

Originally they had planned to elope alone somewhere in the Colorado mountains.  But when they came across our post, they decided to take a leap of faith and reach out.

Planning Their Elegant LGBTQ Elopement

After hearing from Jessica and Raven, Jen from Hitched AF and I shared our design vision for the day, and these two were immediately on board!  They loved everything we shared and were so excited to celebrate their marriage surrounded by the elegant designs and an incredible vendor team.

We were able to feature two of Bestow’s four stunning event spaces.  Jessica and Raven exchanged vows in one of the smaller spaces of the venue.  We used a second larger event space later that day for our other amazing couple, PJ and Aaron.

Following their ceremony, we explored the venue for portraits before gathering with a small group of close family members who had traveled to witness their marriage.  Afterward, the newlyweds headed off to celebrate over lunch with additional friends and family.

Jessica and Raven were so deserving of a day that reflected who they are and celebrate their love and journey together.  I feel incredibly grateful that we were able to play a small part in their story.

Benefits of Booking a Wedding Venue for Your Elopement

Bestow Events was the perfect setting for this intimate and elegant wedding ceremony.  The venue offers a clean, modern canvas with beautiful architectural details and natural light that allow couples to create a celebration that’s uniquely their own.  Whether you’re planning an elopement or a larger wedding the multiple event spaces provide flexibility for a variety of guest counts and aesthetics.

Creative Design Freedom

One of the biggest advantages of choosing a wedding venue for your elopement is the opportunity to fully design your day.

Rather than relying solely on the natural surroundings, you can collaborate with talented florists, rental companies, planners and designers to create a space that feels intentional and completely personalized.

Controlled Environment

One thing many couples assume comes with eloping is sacrificing some comfort or privacy.

Mountain trails, city parks and courthouse ceremonies often involve unpredictable weather, crowds, or tourists.  Choosing an indoor wedding venue gives you far more control over your experience.

You’ll have peace of mind knowing your plans won’t change because of unexpected weather, and your ceremony won’t be interrupted by passing hikers.  Having the venue allows you to stay present throughout your wedding day and focus on your partner and loved ones.

A Comfortable Space for Loved Ones

Even if you’re planning an intimate guest list, having a dedicated venue creates a welcoming environment where you can spend meaningful time with the people who matter most.

Instead of rushing from one location to another, you have space to relax, celebrating and truly exploring the experience together.

When you elope at a venue you have a space to spend time with your loved ones and really be present with them.

How Much Does it Cost to Get Married at Bestow in Longmont Colorado?

Bestow events features four unique event spaces, making it a versatile venue for everything from intimate elopements to full wedding celebrations.

Smaller events begin at $810 for a three-hour rental in the Parlor Room, making it the perfect option for couples planning an intimate ceremony.

Full wedding packages begin around $4,000 for off-season weekday weddings, with rentals accommodation up to 150 seated guests for as long as 11 hours

If you’re envisioning a luxury Colorado elopement with all the beauty of a traditional wedding but on a much smaller scale, Bestow Events offers an incredible option for creating a meaningful and beautiful celebration.
