If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times. The weather in Colorado is fucking insane.

Aubrie and Tristan got to experience that firsthand when we had an April pop up snow storm during their Boulder engagement session. It could’ve been a disaster, but these two rolled with the punches. The images we got are some of the most popular photos I’ve ever created, both with me and my besties on the internet.

The Details and Must Knows

  • These two Texans were visiting relatives and really wanted to get photos done since they had just gotten engaged.
  • For their Boulder engagement session, we picked Chautauqua Park as the perfect spot. On a normal day, the views of the Flatirons are gorgeous and make for the perfect backdrop.
  • Would you believe the sun was shining 30 minutes before their session started? I knew the weather was weathering, so I got to Chautauqua 30 minutes early to scope out some other places to snap photos since I knew the view wouldn’t be visible. We started at the park and then wandered to the super cool cherry blossom tree I found down the road.
  • The umbrellas are mine and are always in my car. You best believe I come prepared for anything.
  • This engagement session in Boulder is the perfect example of having to roll with the punches. Find a photographer you trust, and you’ll be in good hands. I can work in literally any condition. We will absolutely get your photos done, especially when my couples are from out of town. We’re gonna make it work – promise.
