As your elopement photographer, I’m here to provide exactly what you and your partner want.

For Shaelie and Victoria, they wanted an intimate elopement experience in Colorado, so that’s exactly what we did. Their biggest priorities were having a photographer to capture the big and small moments of the day, and a badass Airbnb. These two were SO chill, which made it easy to create a low key, intentional elopement experience that perfectly reflected who they are as a couple.

The couple chose simple flowers for their intimate elopement experience in Colorado.

The Details

  • Victoria and Shaelie eloped about 45 minutes outside of Denver in Evergreen.
  • I just met them at the ceremony spot, and then we hiked for about 20 minutes until we found the perfect overlook for vows. It was a spot with beautiful views of the Foothills, which was perfect for the peaceful vibe they were after.
  • After vows and signing their marriage license, we popped the champagne to celebrate!
  • After some celebrating, we roamed around the park taking more photos. We intentionally took our time heading back to the car, just stopping at different points to give them a good variety of pictures. The dusk photos are giving Twilight, which Shaelie and Victoria loved!

This couple shared vows at Mount Falcon Park as part of their intimate elopement experience in Colorado.

This intimate elopement experience in Colorado only lasted three hours, but went from sunset to dusk.

Must Knows

  • These two decided to bring their siblings along for their intimate elopement experience in Colorado. Just because you’re eloping, that doesn’t mean you can’t bring anyone with you. This is your day, so celebrate it however you want, with whoever you want. Coincidentally, their siblings are dating, which I think is fucking hilarious!
  • Their elopement was at Mount Falcon Park, which is a public park open all year round. There are always people there, so we did our best to find a more secluded spot for privacy.
  • When we talked about what was important for their photos, Victoria and Shaelie said they liked the posed photos I create, but they also really wanted documentary style pictures. Say less. I photographed all the things that were happening that day so they’d have memories of the little in between moments.
  • These two booked my shortest package, which is three hours. It might not seem like a ton of time, but we got photos from sunset to dusk, which gave them totally different vibes throughout the day. Your elopement really can be that simple! You don’t have to take getting ready photos if you don’t want to, and you don’t have to get pictures of whatever you do after your ceremony. I’m here for whatever you and bae want, from the over-the-top to the simple.
