I honestly don’t care if you were team Jacob or team Edward, but if you lived for the vibe in those movies, then you are going to DIE over Kelly and Aubrey’s Lily Lake Elopement. These two came from Florida with their closest friends and family, and the fog at Rocky Mountain National Park that day went OFF for us.

The Details

They shared vows in front of their friends and family at Lily Lake and incorporated some traditional elements, like a first look with Kelly’s parents
One of their good friends was the officiant, but don’t forget – you can self-solemnize in Colorado! She basically led the ceremony and kept us on track
After their Lily Lake elopement, we separated from their family to take some photos. These two brought some of their best friends along to hang out and they were the BEST hype people. We had a blast
Kelly and Aubrey also exchanged private vows while we were out taking pictures. They weren’t comfortable saying them out loud, so they exchanged vow books instead

Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) requires a permit for weddings and elopements, which costs $300. Keep this in mind while you’re budgeting!
Permits are released one year in advance and sell out faster than T-Swift tickets. If you’re set on RMNP, make sure to plan ahead and set your alarm
If you get one, a permit will grant you access to your ceremony location for vows, but the good news is you’re allowed to take photos anywhere in the park afterward
It’s about 1.5 hours from Denver, making it easily accessible if you fly into Denver International Airport
I’m going to get up on my soap box and remind you that your elopement should be all about you and bae. I loved that Kelly and Aubrey didn’t do the “norm” of saying their private vows out loud. They chose to do what made them the most comfortable and still had a super intimate moment they’ll remember forever
