A cookie-cutter wedding venue just isn’t going to cut it for them. There are tons of amazing, non-traditional wedding venues near Denver that I bet most people have never heard of. Whether you want mountain vibes or something with more of a downtown feel, I’ve got you covered.

Get married with the Rockies as your backdrop! The Lodge at Breckenridge has a private deck, reception room, and rehearsal dinner space available year-round, which is uncommon for venues up in the mountains. They also have catering options and onsite lodging, which takes some stress away from your planning. Learn more about their packages here.

This place is EPIC. Juniper Mountain House is a boutique hotel tucked in the woods on 10 acres of land. You’ll have the whole place to yourself on your wedding day, which includes two lounges, a bar, two deck areas, an outdoor fire pit, and hot tub. Since it’s a hotel, you won’t have to worry about lodging for your guests. They have several ceremony spaces and packages to choose from to create the perfect day for you and bae. The Trading Post Backyard is located at Red Rocks Amphitheater, so you have stunning views of the park in an intimate garden setting. They also have a reception space where you can host a dinner to celebrate after saying “I do”!
There are a lot of different locations at Denver Botanic Gardens you can choose for your wedding, but my favorite is Woodland Mosaic and the Solarium. I highly recommend this venue for spring and summer weddings. When everything is in bloom, it’s beautiful! Keep in mind, the gardens stay open to the public until 6 p.m. so if you want ultimate privacy, you should cross this venue off your list. Their getting ready space also isn’t great, so I recommend getting ready at your hotel or Airbnb. More info on their locations here.

These are just a few of my fave non-traditional wedding venues near Denver. With so many of my couples coming from out of state, it’s important for me to help them find the perfect elopement location or wedding venue. That’s why when you book me, I double as a photographer and planner. Only the best of the best for my couples.
