Simple Elopement in Colorado

All of my couples have different priorities for their elopement day.

For Brianna and Andrew, who are self-proclaimed introvert cat people, their biggest priority was being comfortable. As I helped them plan, we decided a simple elopement in Colorado was the best way to make them feel as comfy as possible. We packed a lot into their five-hour elopement day, including tattoos (!!!) and unity joints. I’m always willing to be flexible to create the best package for my couples’ needs.

The Details

Andrew and Brianna rented an Airbnb in Blue River, which is about 15 minutes south of Breckenridge. They spent intentional time together by helping each other get ready, and then we headed out to do vows.
They each hand wrote their own vows. To me, there’s something super special about writing out your vows vs. typing them into your notes app. Call me old fashioned.
Brianna brought her grandpa’s polaroid camera, and we all snapped some fun photos with it throughout the day. I loved that they immediately had photos from their elopement day.
After vows, Andrew and Brianna snacked on some charcuterie and cupcakes to unwind and celebrate being married!
We went to another location to take some more photos before heading back to the Airbnb for TATTOOS!
Brianna and Andrew designed each other’s tattoos – cowboy worms. How badass is that? The tattoo artist set up on their balcony, so they had killer views to look at during the process.
Their simple elopement in Colorado ended with a unity joint. It was a 10/10 day.

Must Knows

Even though Breckenridge and Blue River are super close, they’re totally different vibes. If you want an Airbnb in a location with things you can walk to, Breck is the move. If you want something much more remote and secluded, I def recommend Blue River.
Most of my couples aren’t from Colorado, so I always prioritize making time for them to just relax and take in the views around them. It’s a big deal that they travel all the way out here, and I want everyone to fall in love with Colorado!
Brianna and Andrew booked a five-hour package, which is on the shorter end of my package options. We still fit in everything that was important to them! We did getting ready photos, their ceremony, a location change for more photos, and then their tattoo session. I can pack a lot into any time frame!
